23 Hours (in the air)

Finally here in Vietnam...
Here's a quick recap of the day...
Packed until 2:30 am Monday
Left for Hartsfield at 4 am
Found out at 5:30 am that our flight was delayed 6 hours
KK helped a ton and switched our flights at 6 am
Left for Seattle at 8:20 am
Left Seattle for Tokyo at 12:45 pm (western standard time)
Quynh threw up on me and spilled her juice on me
Landed in Tokyo and finally got off the plane 50 minutes later than expected
Ran through security etc... and got our gate just in time
Found out that only 2 of our bags made it to Japan
Landed in Vietnam at 11:00 pm on Tuesday (local time)
No checked bags arrived
Filed a lost luggage report, and Quynh's cousin picked us up...
After 1,400 honks our taxi dropped us off at our hotel and the three of us went to get food... ate calamari, fried spring rolls, and fried chicken... very good.
Getting to sleep now, then traveling to Hoi An tomorrow.

Wheels Up in 22 Hours

Just testing the blog at this point. Should really be 'violating' for work right now since I'm on the Ticker.... This is equally as important, though.... right? Anyway, this time tomorrow I'll be laying in the lap of luxury (fingers crossed) riding up front on our 14+ hour flight to Tokyo before climbing in to the small seats on the 6-hour leg of our trip into Saigon. We will be arriving in Vietnam around 11:00 pm local time and staying in a hotel there the first night. Pretty pumped... It'll be an experience.
